About The Position

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a well-qualified Class A CDL Driver/Forklift Operator to safely operate tractor-trailers and forklifts to transport raw material and finished goods between LOCAL company-owned facilities in the Bolingbrook, IL area. Hourly rate starts at $27/hour with a $1/hour shift premium. As a Class A CDL Driver/Forklift Operator, you will Safely operate a vehicle by following company protocols and obeying state/local traffic laws at all times Ensure vehicle is in proper working condition and meets all DOT regulations by performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections Report any mechanical or maintenance problems to shift leads or supervisors Use forklifts to transport various material within the manufacturing and warehouse facilities and to load and unload various inbound and outbound freight from the company truck Utilize RF Scanner and computer systems to ensure accurate delivery of goods Print and post-BOLs Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures Operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition; clean and maintain equipment Communicate clearly and work as part of a team Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 3 years of steady experience related to the role as outlined above, including driving experience
  • Valid Class A CDL Driver’s License, required DOT certification, and a clean driving record
  • Be registered in the FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse database
  • Experience operating a forklift
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
  • Great attendance and punctuality
  • Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work well with and motivate a team
  • Willing to work weekends and overtime, as business demands
  • Be fluent in English
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities
