About The Position
CPC Logistics is currently hiring Class A CDL Extra Board Truck Drivers in Mt Vernon IL for the Walgreens private fleet. Extra Board routes consisting of peddle, relay, and team runs are available. Peddle routes consist of making tailgate deliveries via a roller system to Walgreens stores in Mt Vernon IL and the surrounding areas. The schedule is Tuesday thru Saturday with early morning start times (12am-6am) and 95% of the runs are home every day with an occasional layover. Relay routes consist of running regional routes, drop and hook, no touch freight. The schedule is Monday thru Friday with start times that vary from early afternoon to late evening and home every day. Drivers must be willing and able to do Peddle, Relay, and team routes as needed. Hotels provided for layovers for relay runs. No Sleeper Bunk (except for team runs)!
