About The Position

HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Robinson, IL is looking for a Class A or B CDL Driver / Equipment Operator to join their safety conscious team! The CDL Operator is responsible for the safe and proper execution of HPC Industrial jobs across all services lines. Supervises and completes single task jobs requiring one crew and completes turnarounds with management oversight at client's site in accordance with client and business requirements and company policies, practices, and procedures. TWIC card required or must be able to obtain. Must be licensed to drive manual transmission vehicles. Tanker endorsements preferred. Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Class A or B CDL License required, no restrictions.
  • Must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
  • Tanker Endorsements required.
  • Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) required or must be able to obtain.
  • Experience operating a vacuum truck.
  • Working knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
  • Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
  • Valid driver's license, CDL Class A or B and other requirements of company's driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business.

Nice To Haves

  • Tanker endorsements preferred.
  • Experience in industrial cleaning and environmental services.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and complete single task jobs requiring one crew.
  • Complete turnarounds with management oversight at client's site.
  • Operate vacuum equipment and hydro blasting equipment.
  • Operate special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
  • Energize pumping equipment and/or specialized hydro blasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job.
  • Direct a crew of vacuum technicians.
  • Load and unload hoses.
  • Unload vacuum truck at the dump site.
  • Provide general maintenance in the field.
  • Examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
