If you are ready to make a difference Central Power Systems & Services is seeking a talented Class 8 Truck Technician with experience in transmission work for our Truck Shop! We are an Allison Transmission Distributor and a leader in warranty service.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge and ability to repair various sizes of transmissions.
Knowledge and ability to consistently repair components and equipment in line with dealers and manufacturers standards.
Ability to work efficiently and effectively- independently or in a team.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Superior communication skills- written and verbal.
Ability to build and maintain excellent customer, vendor and factory relationships.

Nice To Haves

5 years experience in the following areas
Allison Transmissions
Semi Repair (all makes/models)
Engine Manufacturing and Overhaul

Responsibilities

Provide service to our customers while maintaining exceptional customer service.
Perform overhaul and dyno testing of finished products.
Document warranty failures according to Allison factory requirements.
Write service reports for all repairs.
Conduct all work with established safety procedures.
Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
Attend required training and certification classes.
