About The Position

An amazing opportunity to be a pivotal part of the next great Omni convention collection hotel. The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel is a true outdoor recreation, entertainment and culinary destination paying homage to the heritage and modern progress of the city. With 605 guest rooms and suites, the luxury hotel showcases views of the 70-acre Scissortail Park and the downtown skyline with 75,000 square feet of meeting and event space, sports bar, specialty restaurant, coffee shop and a retail venue.
The class 2 engineer will ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained hotel environment.

Requirements

• Required to have a class 2 operating engineer license and universal EPA certificate.
• Must be able to work AM, PM, overnight, weekend and holiday shifts. Schedule will vary according to business and operational needs.
• Must be able to remain professional and effectively communicate with coworkers and guests.
• Must be able to work independently or in a group.
• Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for the majority of shift.
• Must live within 50 miles of the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Operating the boiler and chilled water plants, and maintaining temperatures throughout the building.
• Take water samples of boiler, loop, and cooling tower systems and treat the water to maintain predetermined levels of chemical concentration.
• Operating various equipments, maintaining domestic hot and cold water systems, and observing various electrical switchgear to ensure proper operation.
• Make repairs to guest room and public spaces as necessary including but not limited to kitchen, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing repairs.
• Assigned to cleaning and general maintenance duties in the engineering spaces as well as other assigned daily operations.
