About The Position
The Highway Superintendent serves as the primary technical support for the Clark County Highway Department, overseeing day-to-day operations of personnel responsible for the maintenance of County roads, bridges, and rights-of-ways. This position involves coordinating paving and roadway work throughout the County and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The Superintendent is also responsible for supervising personnel, planning and scheduling work assignments, and responding to public inquiries and complaints regarding road conditions.
