The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in ensuring excellent service for our customers, operational efficiency, and workplace safety within a fiberglass manufacturing environment. Requirements
- Completed High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing English
- Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of Forklift experience
- Must have previous experience with a clamp truck
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in industrial manufacturing or industrial environment
Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (Clamp Trucks) and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas to support safety and efficiency.
- Actively participate in Plant Safety initiatives such as Hazard ID and Online Learning.
- Operate a forklift (Clamp Truck) to load, and unload, finished goods and forklifts to unload in bound materials to transport materials within the facility.
- Inspect forklifts daily and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Computer literacy required for inventory movement.
- Assist with general warehouse tasks such as picking and organizing inventory.
- Keep work areas clean and organized to prevent accidents.
