About The Position

This position involves operating a clamp truck for tasks such as unloading and inspecting roll stock, labeling each roll, managing damaged stock, ensuring bills of lading are signed, and organizing raw stock inventory using a FIFO basis. The operator will also organize rolls by grade, width, and smaller butts first, check schedules for current and next orders, bring paper to machines, and service the butt roll discharge area. Responsibilities

  • Unloading of roll stock
  • Inspecting roll stock for damage
  • Labeling each roll with International Paper tag
  • Operator is to set apart damaged roll stock & communicate damage to shift supervisor
  • Operator to ensure bill of lading is signed
  • Operator to place roll stock into raw stock inventory
  • Operator to keep paper rotated in FIFO basis
  • Operator to organize rolls by grade & width
  • Operator to organize rolls with smaller butts first
  • Operator to check schedule for current & next orders to run on machine
  • Operator to bring paper to machine at correct station & put in correct position.
  • Operator to service butt roll discharge area
  • Operator must report
