About The Position

As a Part-Time Manager/3rd Key Holder at Claire's, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail targets. Your responsibilities will include driving sales, ensuring a safe and legal trading environment, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will also assist with store operations, visual merchandising, and ear piercing, while ensuring the store remains inviting for customers.

Requirements

• Some high school education required.
• Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Understanding of the importance of customer service.
• Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills.
• Ability to stand during scheduled shifts.
• Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and climb ladders while placing merchandise and assisting customers.
• Ability to operate a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in achieving retail store targets by driving sales.
• Open and close the store in the absence of other management, ensuring safe and legal trading.
• Deliver sales through friendly and efficient customer service.
• Ensure customers have a fun and enjoyable shopping experience.
• Demonstrate Claire's products to customers.
• Assist customers with their queries using product knowledge.
• Process store deliveries, visual merchandising, stock takes, markdowns, and promotions.
• Perform ear piercing after receiving full training.
• Ensure the store looks presentable and inviting to customers.
