About The Position

Responsible for managing pending of limited severity claims and assisting Claims Team with administrative functions. This position works with multiple adjusters to meet carrier deadlines in reporting and investigating claims.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Responsible for attending continuing education
  • Two (2) or more years related administrative or general office experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer services skills, including telephone and listening skills
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
  • Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong typing skills

Responsibilities

  • Submits finalized reports to carriers via email and online platforms, using specific guidelines for each carrier
  • Receives, confirms and sets up new claims
  • Assist with the claims adjustment process as follows: prepare acknowledgment letters/emails, independent adjuster assignments, and basic reservation of rights letters
  • Assigns new claims consistent with protocols put in place by management, as well as consistent with current adjuster licensing
  • Providing back up support for check printing and mailing as needed
  • Maintains positive relationships with adjusters and carriers, and respond to external inquiries, including from agents and insureds
  • Processes vendor invoices and other payments as needed
  • Respond to loss run requests
  • Perform ISO and OFAC submissions as needed
  • Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information)
  • Other duties as assigned
