About The Position

We’re looking for a Claims Submission & A/R Follow-Up Team Leader to support and guide a centralized dental insurance team. This hands-on role ensures claims are submitted accurately and on time, insurance follow-up is done consistently, and payments are received without unnecessary delays. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting others, solving problems, and improving insurance processes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of dental insurance claims and A/R experience
• Knowledge of dental insurance processes and payer requirements
• Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Prior team lead or mentoring experience preferred
• Experience in a dental group or DSO environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support and guide a team handling insurance claims and A/R follow-up
• Ensure claims are submitted clean and complete within 24 hours of treatment
• Confirm required attachments (X-rays, narratives, photos, etc.) are included
• Follow up on insurance claims over 21 days until resolved
• Assist with denied, underpaid, or complex claims
• Collaborate with credentialing and office teams to resolve insurance issues
• Identify trends or recurring issues that may delay payment
