About The Position

The internal deadline to apply is xx/xx/xxxx. External applications will be accepted on a rolling basis while the position remains open. Specializes in a specific line of business (i.e. property, casualty, workers compensation). Manage high-exposure and/or complex claims with minimal supervision and guidance from the manager utilizing current claim technology. Utilize technical expertise to provide guidance to others. Direct activities of defense counsel in order to achieve optimal outcomes on litigated files. Research and provide coverage opinions. Handle special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate in General Insurance designation
  • Associate in Claims designation
  • Licensed in jurisdictions where required

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trainer and subject matter expert for the department.
  • Participate and/or lead projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Recognize opportunities for efficiency and improvement and provide feedback to leadership.
  • Provide technical guidance to others.
