Curri is seeking candidates for a Claims Specialist to join our Legal and Compliance Department. This role reports to the Manager, Operational Risk & Insurance and is fully remote or can be based at Curri HQ in Ventura, CA. The Claims Specialist plays a key role in administering transportation-related claims from initial notice through resolution. This position is responsible for investigating incidents submitted by both internal and external stakeholders while ensuring timely, accurate, and fair outcomes. The role requires regular interaction with peers, customers, carrier owners, drivers, and third parties to gather information and communicate claim status. A strong focus is placed on mitigating claim expenses through proactive investigation while adhering to company policies and expectations. Key metrics that will form the basis for evaluating performance in this role will be based on customer experience and satisfaction and the financial value of claims that are mitigated or recovered. The Claims Specialist also supports continuous improvement efforts by identifying trends and opportunities to reduce future losses.
