About The Position
An established peer-review and compliance organization is seeking a candidate with experience in billing and coding with a claims background for a Claims Specialist - Licensed Practical Nurse role. The position supports independent dispute resolutions through CMS (Center for Medicaid Services). Experience with multispecialty coding and billing is highly preferred.
Requirements
- Active NY LPN license
- Coding certification or experience
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT
- Strong attention to detail
- Clinical understanding of medical terminology
- Good communication abilities
