About The Position

Zurich is currently hiring a Claims Specialist I to join their Auto Claims Team. This is a great opportunity to advance your career in claims by interpreting, investigating, and evaluating auto policies and coverage issues, as well as claims handling and best practices. At this level, you will manage auto liability property damage and comparative negligence losses. This position will handle both comprehensive/collision and auto liability property damage claims. You will own your assigned claims from end to end, resolving claims according to best practices. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance areaOR
  • Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance areaOR
  • Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree with 2 or more years of experience in the Claims Handling or Insurance areaOR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance areaAND
  • Prior experience in auto claims handling, insurance claims, or a related customer service field.
  • Understanding of auto insurance policies, coverage, and state regulations.
  • Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
  • Customer service experience
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products
