About The Position

The Claims Services Representative delivers exceptional customer service by efficiently handling inbound calls from policyholders, contractors, and public adjusters, processing claim notices and coordinating with internal departments to ensure fast and accurate claim resolution. The position requires responding promptly and professionally to inbound calls regarding claims, providing accurate and thorough information, demonstrating empathy, active listening, and problem-solving skills, and maintaining clear, courteous, and professional communication with internal departments and external parties. Additionally, the representative must upload claim correspondence timely to avoid any delays in the claim process.

Requirements

  • One year or more related experience and/or training in a high-volume call center environment; or equivalent combination and experience
  • Impeccable attention to detail with commitment to delivering error-free work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel with extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Excel formulas and spreadsheets
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast paced and high-volume environment
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, as well as independently
  • Strong phone etiquette and Customer Service experience

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Insurance 6-20 License, preferred
