Overview The Claims Customer Service Representative to assist the Claims Department with processing claims and other administrative duties. This is an excellent entry level role to the TPA (Third Party Administrator) business and in the Claims area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 1-3 years of related experience and/or training
  • Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction
  • Problem solving skills; strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in use of Agency Management software, or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new systems
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • HR and/or benefits knowledge preferred, but will train the right candidate

Responsibilities

  • Process HRA claims.
  • Take Provider/Facility calls related to claim payment and status
  • Take member calls with claims processing questions
  • Document activity and telephone conversations in system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
