As a Medical Claims Detective, the Claims Representative I will investigate low-complexity workers’ compensation claims, examining details, determining coverage, and calculating payment amounts. The role is supported by a manager and claims technology.

Responsibilities

Manage assigned Workers Compensation Medical Only/low complexity claims with supervision and guidance from the manager utilizing current Claims technology.
Conduct thorough investigations in order to determine coverage and claim payment amounts owed.
Maintain proactive file management and adequate reserving.
Participate in training activities.
Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service.
Adhere to department audit guidelines.
