The Claims Processor at Tesla is responsible for effectively managing and resolving insurance claims through compassionate communication. This role involves collaboration with internal teams, assigning claims to adjusters, and handling payment processing. The Claims Processor will also engage with customers, agents, and repair facilities to ensure smooth claims management and outstanding customer service.

  • Review and determine payment of minor, undisputed, and/or limited authorization claims.
  • Assign all other claims to the appropriate adjuster.
  • Verify coverage and damage reports received from vendors and customers for accuracy and consistency with the claim as reported.
  • Audit bills for detection of possible fraud and refer findings to management for referral to the Special Investigations Unit as advised.
  • Prepare and submit administrative reports as required.
  • Provide support for unit claims associates and managers.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to all internal, external, current, and prospective nationwide customers.
  • 3+ years of directly related work experience in financial and insurance claims processing.
