About The Position

As a Claims Processing Specialist at FreezPak Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in managing the freight claims process, ensuring effective communication, and driving resolutions. Your responsibilities will encompass the claims/ OS&D lifecycle, from initiation to settlement, with a strong emphasis on customer service and stakeholder relationship management.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years in claims and insurance processing of cargo issues.
• Experience handling total loss cargo damage claims.
• Experience conducting negotiations of claims with represented and non-represented claimants.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of cargo insurance policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Intermediate data analysis skills using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
• Open to thinking/working with an outside-the-box approach.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in claims management or logistics (e.g., Certified Claims Professional, Certified Supply Chain Professional) a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics, customer service, and finance to resolve complex claims and disputes.
• Monitor claims data and generate reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational enhancements.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and company procedures related to claims processing.
