About The Position

As the Claims Paralegal, you will have the opportunity to:   Assist attorneys in maintaining and organizing complex legal projects, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and providing administrative support as necessary Provide legal support to attorneys and business managers by assisting with review of Prime Contracts, Subcontracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements and a variety of other legal documents Work under close supervision

Requirements

  • 5+ years corporate law or paralegal experience required
  • Experience reviewing and redlining contracts
  • Corporate registration experience required
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Paralegal Certification (or global equivalent) preferred
  • Some college preferred
  • Legal software experience preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of federal, state, and local licensing
  • Legal research training preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Updates contract language and/or mechanics of standard agreements
  • Marks-up agreements, including non-disclosure agreements, services agreements and some less complex construction agreements
  • May review and negotiate confidentiality agreements
