SUMMARY : This role provides strategic leadership and governance for the Claims organization’s Leadership Development Program (LDP). The position ensures the Claims Supervisor pipeline is healthy, appropriately staffed, and aligned with GEICO leadership standards. This leader partners closely with Corporate Learning and Development, Workforce Planning, and Claims Operations to evaluate participation levels, forecast staffing needs, and ensure the program strengthens leadership capability across the Claims organization. This role is responsible for long range planning, program effectiveness evaluation, and ensuring that the enterprise curriculum translates into operational readiness with the Claims environment. Strategic Program Leadership Lead the overall strategy, direction, and governance of the Claims Leadership Development Program. Align the Claims program to the corporate leadership curriculum and enterprise development framework. Ensure the program builds sustainable leadership capability to meet current and future operational needs. Workforce Planning and Supervisor Pipeline Support Analyze historical and forecast supervisor staffing demands, including turnover, promotions, and business growth. Model future supervisor capacity needs and adjust program participation targets accordingly. Provide strategic insights to Claims leadership on supervisor bench strength, readiness gaps, and timing of development cohorts. Program Effectiveness, Metrics, and Insights Lead development of KPIs and dashboards, working closely with inter-departmental partners to assess participation rates, completion rates, supervisor readiness, and program ROI. Identify trends, risks, and opportunities based on cohort performance and organizational staffing needs. Present findings and recommendations to senior Claims leaders in a clear, data-driven manner. Cross Functional Leadership Partner with Corporate Legal & Regulatory to align Claims program priorities, content integration and packing with enterprise model. Collaborate with Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, and HRBPs to ensure Claims Supervisor pipeline aligns with hiring strategy. Program Governance and Optimization Establish governance routines, steering committees, and quarterly business reviews to maintain alignment and operational priorities. Influence and drive enhancements to the program based on performance outcomes and organizational direction. Ensure the program scales effectively across Claims with minimal tactical involvement in delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in insurance, business, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in leadership development, organizational effectiveness, or operational leadership.
