Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree ideally in Engineering, Business or Risk Management.
• Ability to work full time during summer internship.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good analytical, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Efficient time management skills.
• Naturally inquisitive and able to undertake and deliver projects.
• Familiarity with MS Office products.

Responsibilities

• Manage large projects related to property claims.
• Develop negotiating skills through real-world applications.
• Review business financials as part of the claims process.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Handle all aspects of property damage and business interruption claims, including loss investigations and policy application.
• Assist in loss mitigation and measurement.
• Communicate effectively regarding business restoration and claims preparation.
• Participate in subrogation processes.
