Requirements

• Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with an anticipated graduation date of May 2026 or 2027
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs, specifically Excel
• Must have a record of high achievement, self-motivation, ability to multi-task and accomplish competing priorities
• Ability to analyze/reason through complex problems and make sound recommendations while consistently demonstrating honesty, integrity, courtesy and respect when interacting with others

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and other documentation
• Data entry and inputting financial data
• Review/perform quality control on loss measurements prepared by team
• Work closely with team to learn how to evaluate financial damage claims including business interruption and inventory validation/valuation
• Help to create a positive team environment that achieves Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and objectives
• Participate in weekly professional development and training workshops as well as network with fellow interns and Hartford professionals through the enterprise
