How you will create an impact Provide technical expertise in directing and resolving Federal Workers’ Compensation claims in accordance with best claim practice guidelines. Utilize investigation, claim handling, litigation, and negotiation skills to ensure timely cost-effective claim settlements and file closure. Claims could be of unlimited value but utilize independent decision making with reserve and settlement authority up to $150,000. Provide prompt effective customer service to differentiate AIG from our competitors Manage indemnity, medical and legal aspects of assigned claims using available resources which include medical management services to manage medical treatment and coordinate use of independent medical evaluations where appropriate Gather documentation and make a timely recovery submission to DFEC in a complete and efficient manner to ensure full recovery is received
