Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience)
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and prioritization skills
  • Passion for helping others and navigating complex processes
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a mission-driven organization
  • Ability to travel locally and attend events
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, outreach, claims, or case coordination
  • Familiarity with EEOICPA, DOE communities, or benefits navigation
  • Event coordination or community engagement experience
  • CRM or database tracking experience

Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining relationships with former DOE workers, claimants, and community partners
  • Supporting individuals through the EEOICPA claims process, ensuring they understand and access their benefits
  • Partnering with Authorized Representatives to track claim progress and drive outcomes
  • Attending and supporting community outreach events to educate and engage potential claimants
  • Collaborating with marketing on lead generation campaigns (postcards, outreach, events)
  • Managing and tracking claims pipeline, lead activity, and benefit timelines
  • Working cross-functionally with clinical, outreach, and marketing teams to identify additional benefit opportunities
