About The Position

The Claims Consultant at R3 Roofing & Exteriors is responsible for managing and resolving insurance claims within the commercial and residential storm restoration industry. Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in a Claims Consultant role or similar position within the construction or roofing industry.
• Proficient in Xactimate software for estimating and claims management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of building codes, manufacturing specifications, and construction methods.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple claims simultaneously.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with project managers and other key stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and thoroughness.

Responsibilities

• Assess and process insurance claims by reviewing building codes, manufacturing specifications, and construction practices to formulate accurate scopes of work.
• Prepare and present detailed scopes of work to claims adjusters to facilitate agreement on claims resolutions.
• Utilize Xactimate software to generate precise estimates for repairs and replacements.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure alignment between claims processes and project execution.
• Maintain meticulous records of all claims-related documentation and correspondence.
• Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters, clients, and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely claims processing.
• Stay informed on industry developments, building codes, and construction methods to ensure ongoing accuracy and compliance.
