This is a Hybrid position operating out of our Mesa, AZ office. We’re Looking For: A Claims Collection Agent who is responsible for managing and recovering amounts due for damage claims and amounts due on other outstanding accounts. This role involves contacting individuals or businesses via phone and email to make payment arrangements and ensure that debts are collected in a timely and efficient manner. The Collections Representative plays a key role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by managing outstanding receivables and working to reduce bad debt.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong customer relations and negotiation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Collections/Customer Service experience.
  • Automotive industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage a portfolio of overdue accounts.
  • Contact customers through phone calls, emails, or letters to collect overdue payments.
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with customers to recover outstanding balances.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding their account status.
  • Collect and manage insurance payments and follow through with the insurance companies until payment is received.
  • Document all interactions with customers and update account records accordingly.
  • Maintain professional and courteous communication while handling difficult or sensitive conversations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while managing challenging situations.
  • Foster positive relationships with carriers to facilitate open communication and cooperation.
  • Provide support to carriers while demonstrating empathy and understanding in every interaction.
