As a Claims Associate, you will triage new incidents, support claim investigations, and evaluate and resolve claims, primarily focusing on workers’ compensation but also supporting other claim types as needed. Your responsibilities will include safeguarding data integrity, supporting the claims and risk team with daily administrative tasks, and serving as the primary point of contact for injured associates, claimants, attorneys, and business partners. Success in this role is measured by cycle-time reduction, reserve accuracy, and overall claim cost containment.   • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 2+ years relevant work experience in workers’ compensation, auto liability, or general liability claim handling (carrier, TPA, or self-insured employer)
  • Completion of or progress toward professional designations (e.g., AIC, ARM, CPCU)
  • Experience using ODG guidelines for disability duration and reserve benchmarking
  • Proficiency in RMIS platforms
