Davies is seeking a Claims Assistant candidate that is comfortable working collaboratively as well as independently to provide data analysis and system processing to supports the Excess Claims Management unit. The candidate will handle medical claims data within the Excess Claims and ultimately will be responsible to manipulate claims data into a formatted structure, and import into our proprietary claims system. The candidate will also process claim system functionality to produce output for the claims review. The Claims Assistant will analyze data received from multiple clients and prepare submissions to be reviewed by other members of the unit. The focus of daily activities is data receipt & analysis, and processing data files through the claims system. The focus of daily activities is to exam data files, acknowledge receipt, identify and inventory claims by client, utilize formatting instructions to prepare claims for processing, communicate with supervisor or colleagues regarding any data discrepancies, maintain productivity and quality benchmarks, and direct inquiries to the appropriate colleagues or clients.
