About The Position

Our team is growing, and we’re looking for a detail‑oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Workers’ Compensation department and help keep our claims operations running smoothly. This is a hybrid position, and applicants must be located in Columbus, Ohio, to be considered.

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED equivalent
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Detail oriented
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to complete assignments within the dictated deadlines.
  • Ability to perform in a team environment.
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

  • Assist claims teams with daily administrative tasks, assignments, and deadline‑driven work.
  • Update and maintain claim files across workers’ compensation, auto, and general liability lines.
  • Calculate indemnity benefits for workers’ compensation claims.
  • Process, request, and document payments in the claims system.
  • Communicate with branch locations to gather information or relay updates.
  • Review, scan, and distribute incoming mail.
