About The Position

Tokio Marine HCC – Surety Group, a member of the Tokio Marine Group of Companies, has an opportunity for a Claims Assistant at our office in downtown Los Angeles. We are looking for an individual who is efficient, accurate and detail-oriented and who enjoys the challenge of a high-volume work environment.

Requirements

• Experience with data entry and file organization
• Customer service mindset – eager to help, regardless of the task
• Quick to understand processes and procedures
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Teamwork, planning and organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Setting up electronic files with documents, dates, and well-written summaries
• Updating claimants and internal colleagues by phone and written correspondence about the status of claims
• Processing mail and payment checks
