About The Position
This position is with Rockville Risk Management Associates, a third-party administration arm of The RiverStone Group. Reporting to the Unit Manager of Reinsurance, this role is responsible for administrative client oversight on various accounts, including but not limited to various lines of reinsurance claims and in various systems. This role will be responsible for learning claims-handling best practices and plans for direct handling of reinsurance. The candidate may manage a portfolio of reinsurance claims that include higher exposure, greater severity and/or complexity. Account / administrative duties include file documentation, payment processing/assistance, and drafting market summaries. Claims handing duties may include resolution of coverage and liability issues, claim evaluation, establishment of adequate reserves, litigation management, case resolution and transaction processing, and implementation of strategic initiatives relating to liability work matters, in alignment with the Company’s Strategic Vision.
