The position involves processing death claim transactions by corresponding with agents, beneficiaries, and other departments regarding policies. The role requires a willingness to learn new payment processes and other processes within death claims depending on the needs of the day. The individual will be responsible for the accurate handling and timely execution of any policy worked, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and within the timeframe considered suitable by Genworth Financial guidelines. Additionally, the role includes reporting any potential fraudulent, money laundering, or unethical requests that have been reviewed, performing other related duties as assigned, and providing an elite customer service experience via letters or phone calls made internally or externally. Continuous evaluation and identification of opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer's experience are also key responsibilities.
