Hub International Northeast Limited seeks an energetic, initiative-taking Claims Advocate to join our Property and Casualty (P&C) Claims Group.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive claims experience at P&C insurance carrier and/or brokerage.
  • Deep expertise across all commercial P&C insurance lines with emphasis on 1st party property claims.
  • Demonstrated success in leveraging data, technology, and analytics for improved decision-making and client outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as claims advisor to HUB clients, ensuring timely and equitable resolutions.
  • Partner with producers and account executives to strengthen client relationships through proactive claims strategies.
  • Manage relationships with insurers, TPAs, and other claims partners to optimize outcomes.
  • Engage in full claims advocacy on behalf of clients, including first reporting of claims, claim investigations/fact development, preparing and presentation of claim reviews, documenting claim files, completing claim file activities, retrieving and reviewing insurance contract language, calculating/recommending loss settlements, and issuing rebuttals relating to coverage disputes on behalf of HUB clients.
  • Adhering to Claims Department Standards while maintaining an appropriate volume of work product.
