About the position

The Senior Claims Adjuster will be responsible for managing and resolving complex claims in trade credit insurance. This role involves collaboration with underwriting and risk teams to ensure efficient claims processing while providing expert guidance to junior adjusters. The position requires strong analytical skills and a customer-centric approach to effectively negotiate settlements and ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review, investigate, and manage trade credit insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Analyze claim documentation and assess coverage, liability, and damages.
• Collaborate with underwriters, risk managers, and legal teams to resolve complex claims.
• Negotiate settlements with clients and third parties while maintaining Allianz Trade's best interests.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, regulations, and legal requirements.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior claims adjusters.
• Prepare detailed claims reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Continuously monitor and update claims processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, law, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in claims adjusting, preferably in trade credit insurance.
• Strong knowledge of insurance policies, claims procedures, and risk management practices.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in claims management software and MS Office.
