About The Position

As a Claims Adjuster Trainee at Progressive, you will learn to assist customers in navigating the claims process after an accident. This role focuses on building relationships with customers over the phone rather than in the field. You will manage a full caseload of claims, receiving comprehensive training on property damage and insurance contracts to ensure you can adjust claims confidently and independently. The position is hybrid, allowing for a mix of in-office and remote work, with ongoing support from a collaborative team and leadership.

Requirements

• Three years of relevant work experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree

Responsibilities

• Determine coverage for claims
• Assess liability to identify fault for damages
• Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
• Collaborate with appraisers and estimators to manage vehicle repairs
• Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims
