About The Position
As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will embark on a comprehensive training program designed to equip you with the skills necessary to assist customers in navigating the claims process after an accident. This role is primarily conducted over the phone, allowing you to build meaningful relationships with customers while managing a significant caseload of claims. You will be trained to efficiently resolve claims from start to finish, ensuring that customers receive the support they need during a challenging time. The position is set in a fast-paced environment, where you will learn to determine coverage and liability, interview customers and witnesses, and collaborate with appraisers to manage vehicle repairs. Throughout your training, you will receive ongoing coaching and support from a collaborative team of leaders and experienced colleagues. This mentorship will be crucial as you gain in-depth knowledge of property damage and insurance contracts, enabling you to adjust claims confidently and independently. The role is hybrid, requiring you to work in the office two days a week, with the flexibility to choose your work location for the remaining three days. This arrangement will last for 12 months, after which your in-office days may vary based on business needs. If you prefer a more traditional office environment, you are welcome to work in the office as often as you like. This position is located in Modesto, CA, and offers a structured schedule during training and onboarding, transitioning to a full-time schedule thereafter.
