About The Position
Insurance Placement Solutions is seeking a Remote Commercial Auto/General Liability Claims Adjuster to join our client's claims team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in general liability to independently investigate, evaluate, and resolve assigned claims, ensuring that outcomes are appropriate and in line with company guidelines. Your responsibilities will include administering and resolving claims in a timely manner, adhering to legal statutes and policy provisions, and maintaining compliance with company protocols. As a Claims Adjuster, you will analyze and process complex or technically challenging commercial general liability claims. This involves gathering information to assess the exposure of each claim and managing claims through well-developed action plans to ensure timely resolutions. You will be responsible for assessing liability, negotiating settlements within your designated authority level, and calculating and assigning appropriate reserves to claims. Additionally, you will monitor reserve adequacy throughout the life of each claim and ensure that benefits due are calculated and paid promptly. Your role will also involve preparing necessary state filings within statutory limits, managing the litigation process to ensure timely and cost-effective claims resolution, and coordinating vendor referrals for further investigation or litigation management. Effective communication with the ill or injured party and the client is crucial, as you will maintain professional relationships while keeping all parties informed about claim activity and processing.
