In this role, you will be responsible for investigating, confirming, paying or denying, and resolving claims involving attorney-represented, mostly third-party bodily injury claims. This position requires providing outstanding customer service while managing a large volume of claims. You will analyze, review, and interpret policies to assess coverage and handle moderate to highly complex bodily injury claims, including some unrepresented Underinsured Motorist Bodily Injury (UIMBI) and Uninsured Motorist Bodily Injury (UMBI) claims. Daily interactions will include contact with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and vendors, necessitating strong communication skills and the ability to navigate complex situations effectively. Your responsibilities will also include investigating liability on claims by taking statements, reviewing police reports, and talking to witnesses. You will execute the review, evaluation, and negotiation of injury claims, ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations governing the handling of auto bodily injury claims. This role demands exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a high-paced environment, as well as a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology and medical billing processes related to bodily injury claims.
