About The Position

The Claim Vendor Quality Reinspector at Chubb is responsible for reinspecting open and closed claims involving contractors from the Chubb Trusted Service Network and other vendors. The role focuses on validating loss inspections, coverage, damage scope, and construction estimates. The selected candidate will also assist the Property Field Staff in ensuring timely reconstruction processes and will conduct meetings with preferred vendors to provide feedback aimed at improving service quality. Additionally, the reinspector will collaborate with the First Party Audit Team to identify training opportunities and maintain compliance with regulations and company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of Outside property claims or re-inspecting experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance contracts, investigative techniques, legal requirements, and regulations.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Strong knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, CoreLogic Tools, Symbility, and/or Xactimate.
  • Knowledge of current construction methods and costs.
  • Ability to write estimates and complete contents and building valuations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in training others on claim handling practices.
  • Strong understanding of the Property Best Practices Guidelines.

  • Industry credentials such as AIC, SCLA, or CPCU.

Responsibilities

  • Reinspect open and closed claims involving contractors from the Chubb Trusted Service Network and other vendors.
  • Validate loss inspections, nature of the loss, coverage provided, scope of damage, and construction estimates.
  • Assist Property Field Staff in validating the reconstruction process timelines.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with preferred vendors to provide quality and customer service feedback.
  • Act as the primary resource for complaint resolution involving network vendors.
  • Work with the First Party Audit Team to identify training opportunities for Outside Adjusters.
  • Contact policyholders and Independent adjusters as needed.
  • Maintain an active diary of re-inspections and training opportunities.
  • Adhere to statutory regulations and unfair claim practices acts.
  • Communicate effectively with all internal and external customers.
