Job Overview Under general supervision, responsible for obtaining and maintaining essential information in order to handle routine claims. May conduct investigations on assigned cases based on policy and accident details to confirm coverage and damages owed. The Claim Representative I role is a hybrid eligible role, in our Bakersfield California location. This is one of our newer locations, great culture, and atmosphere and a casual dress environment. Requirements

High school diploma plus 1-3 years of related customer service experience or applicable insurance knowledge.
Must demonstrate strong customer service focus, a proficient understanding and use of basic policy/contract coverage (including regulatory/policy differences, legal liability, and general policy coverage) and be able to recognize questionable coverage/contract situations which necessitate supervisory involvement.
General understanding of overall claim operations and key stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and keyboard shortcuts is desired.
