About The Position

CCMSI’s Workers’ Compensation Claim Associate I – LevelUP Program is a full-time, paid training program that prepares you to become a Workers’ Compensation Adjuster in just 12–16 months. This is an entry-level role—no insurance experience required. Requirements

• Associate degree or 2+ years of related business or administrative experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Commitment to pursuing a long-term career as a claims adjuster

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in insurance, medical office work, or knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience handling confidential information in a professional setting

Responsibilities

• Learn to investigate, evaluate, and manage medical-only workers’ compensation claims
• Assist with indemnity claims under close supervision
• Document claim activity thoroughly and accurately in the claim system
• Learn to establish reserves, evaluate medical documentation, and process payments
• Communicate effectively with clients, claimants, and medical providers
• Manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate accountability, customer service, and attention to detail every day
