About The Position

As a Claim Associate, you will provide administrative and clerical support to the claim team, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of claim-related tasks. This role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals seeking growth opportunities in the insurance industry.

Requirements

  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong clerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in insurance, claims, or customer service is a plus.
  • Willingness to obtain an adjuster's license in the future (must pass a licensing exam and background check after training).
  • Associate's degree or 2+ years of relevant business experience.

Responsibilities

  • Order police reports and upload documents/photos into claim files.
  • Answer incoming calls from claimants and clients, providing professional assistance.
  • Enter new claims into the system and process claim assignments.
  • Request iCE system access for claims as needed.
  • Maintain accurate claim documentation and support adjusters with administrative tasks.
