We have positions available in a Neuro Step Down and at the Cardiac Step Down Unit. As a GiaMed JV employee, you can expect: A structured environment Low patient ratios A team that consists of LVN’s and Techs to work with No On-Call Competitve pay and generous benefits Schedule consists of 3 months days and 3 months nights- 3/12s Responsibilities As a GiaMed employee, your duties and responsibilities will be the same as any other registered nurse on the same unit. Duties can include but are not limited to the following: team lead, precept, orientate, rapid response, and other tasks as needed. As an RN on either of the stepdown units, you can expect to provide healing to patients needing a higher level of skilled nursing care than on a Medical Surgical floor, but do not need an intensive level of care in the ICU.

Requirements

Must be U.S. citizen
Valid Registered Nursing license for any U.S. jurisdiction
BLS, ACLS current
The RN shall have at least one (1) year of full-time experience working as an RN in an Adult Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) or equivalent, and a minimum of two (2) years (full-time) in clinical nursing within the last four (4) years.
