Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelor's or master's degree in related discipline such as civil engineering or planning from an ABET/EAC accredited program or an approved equivalent.
  • Self-motivated and strong work ethic.
  • Strong organizational skills required; ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Data collector in the field.
  • Perform specific portions of a broader assignment of an experienced planner/engineer/inspector.
  • Perform standard computations or basic analysis.
  • Prepare drawings and visual aids.
  • Observe construction activities.
  • Assist in maintaining equipment inventory.
  • Perform design tasks.
  • Perform quantity estimates.
  • Attend project meetings with senior staff.
  • Responsible for writing report sections.
  • Responsible for basic QA/QC tasks; review of own work.
  • Assist at various meetings including public and client meetings.
