About The Position

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Civil Superintendent to join our Project Delivery team for utility-scale solar projects. This role involves 95% travel, with per diem and monthly home trips provided. The ideal candidate will foster win-win outcomes with stakeholders, particularly in areas of safety and environmental compliance, while creating an environment where everyone feels valued and respected. Please note: This role does not provide visa sponsorship.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of Civil experience including clearing, grading, erosion control and utilities.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.
• Experience managing subcontractors.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate internal teams and civil subcontractors to ensure quality execution on utility-scale solar and battery storage project sites.
• Develop and improve processes and metrics that drive consistent actions and behaviors to maximize profitability and productivity.
• Support teams and subcontractors in understanding and implementing DEPCOM's safety and quality standards while adhering to construction schedules.
• Enhance decision-making through knowledge sharing, challenging processes, evaluating alternatives, and clarifying decision rights.
• Manage schedules, budgets, and contract compliance for civil subcontractors and internal SWPPP teams.
• Partner with DEPCOM's internal Environmental team to ensure compliance with city, county, and state environmental regulations.
• Develop and communicate a comprehensive 3-week look-ahead schedule for civil-related disciplines on the project.
• Verify that subcontractor work and site conditions align with project plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Maintain accurate daily reporting for both internal and external stakeholders.
