Requirements

• A Ph.D. in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related engineering field is strongly preferred
• M.S. degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field will be considered only with significant relevant work experience
• P.E., S.E. license or the ability to become licensed within two years in at least one state
• Creative problem-solving ability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced consulting environment

Responsibilities

• Inspection, analysis, and determination of root causes of structure and building performance problems
• Reviewing the design of structures according to applicable codes and standards
• Conducting computer analysis of structural systems
• Performing field investigations and diagnostic surveys
• Preparing technical reports and presentations
• Continued professional development towards establishing professional expertise
