About the role: As a Civil Engineer you will you will support of design activities in the area of structural steel and reinforced concrete design. You will report to the Structural Steel Senior Manager, Building Engineering & Physical Design and be located at global headquarters in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania. The position is hybrid, you will be on site 2 days per week. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Internship Experience
  • EIT / FE Certification

Responsibilities

  • Support design activities which include analysis and drawing markups in the area of structural steel or concrete design.
  • Address technical issues related to the fabrication, assembly, and construction phases of a civil/structural project. This includes technical justification of design changes and requires troubleshooting of emergent technical issues.
  • On-Site support at multiple utilities and smaller projects.
  • Gain familiarity with analytical tools such as ANSYS, LS-DYNA, and GT Strudl
  • Become familiar with applicable industry civil/structural codes and (such as ACI, AISC, AWS) standards and company procedures.
  • Develop engineering sketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CAD programs.
