About The Position

We are seeking an individual with a passion for structural design and a drive to build the future. The Civil/Structural Engineer will collaborate with a team of engineers and technical staff to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering is required.
  • Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ASCE 7, AISC 360, and ACI 318.
  • Experience with Earthquake Engineering concepts and tools such as SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, and AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design of steel structures and concrete foundations.
  • Ability to generate structural reports.
  • Experience in industries such as Power, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, and Petrochemical.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with tools like Strudl and STAAD.
  • Experience in gas turbine and steam turbine power plants.
  • Experience in civil engineering and structural steel design.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and structural analysis of steel structures and concrete foundations.
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, and reports under the guidance of experienced engineers.
  • Collect, review, interpret, and integrate design requirements from customers, suppliers, and the parent company.
  • Prepare and review engineering technical requirements to support overall project proposals and bid strategies.
  • Review customer specifications and prepare technical clarifications and deviations.
  • Prepare and review budgets, bids, technical requirements, and commercial requirements.
  • Plan and review deliverable schedules, including project documentation and equipment.
  • Work with suppliers to develop budgets and pricing estimates.
  • Ensure arrangement and foundation interface information meets requirements.
  • Interface with internal and external teams to ensure design interface information for structural commodities is accurate and properly accounted for.
  • Establish corrective actions to reduce nonconformances and improve project outcomes.
  • Carry out other responsibilities as assigned to meet evolving project and organizational needs.
